Issue
The installation program displays the message “D0021”
The error may occur:
•During installation
•During Activation
Cause
The number of multiple activations exceeds the maximum allowed.
You can install and activate the product on up to 3 computers. If you want to activate the product on a fourth computer, you must deactivate one of those that are already activated.
Consider that the installer identifies the computer using an electronic fingerprint that depends on the hardware and operating system. If you have made important changes in your computer, such as hard disk replacement, operating system re-installation, etc., your system could be detected as a new one.
How to Proceed
Run the Activation Wizard again and when it prompts to select a computer to be deactivated, choose one.
