Issue
The product displays the message “K1008”
The error may occur:
•When starting the product
•When installing new design components (fonts, monograms, etc)
•When installing product updates
•While validating the license
Cause
This error appear when the License sever receives a request to validate a license from a computer not listed as one where the product was installed and activated.
The system identifies each computer with an electronic signature that depends on main hardware components. If you replaced important hardware components (such as the hard disk) the fingerprint will change and our system becomes not able to identify the computer, rising this error.
How to Proceed
Uninstall the product using the Windows Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs entry. Then install the product again.
