Problems during the Software Use > Error Code #5 - Problem with Communication Port

Issue

The program displays the message “Error 5”

This error may occur:

•Sending the design to the CAMS machine.

Cause

This error indicated that the USB port required to send to the machine is being used by another program (probably GemMaster software, if it is open).

How to proceed

Close any other application that could be using the USB port, then try to send the design to the machine again.

If the above procedure didn't solve this error, contact your machine dealer.
