This function is useful when you want to edit some objects included in the text object, and it requires to unblock (disassemble) the text object. It is also named Split an Embroidery Text.

 

Explode

Breaks a text object into the basic embroidery objects.

You can the edit each embroidery object individually.

Explode into Chars

Converts the text object in a set of packaged objects, one for each letter of the original text.

You can then work with each package (letter) separately.
