Issue

The product or Setup tool (Eo Setup or Era Setup) displays the message “K0044”

The error may occur:

When installing new components

When installing updates

When trying to run Eo Setup or Era Setup tools

Cause

The Eo Setup or Era Setup tool could not be found or could not be executed.

How to Proceed

Check that you are logged in to Windows with administrator privileges (do not log in with a limited user account) and try the operation again.

Check that the antivirus program has not quarantined any product files. Set it up so that it does not interfere with the product installation folders, then reinstall the product.

If the problem persists, contact support staff using the Support Contact Wizard. This tool will collect and send us some important details of your installation that will help us to identify the issue faster.
