Subscription - Temporary License

The software is protected with a dongle (also known as protection device or key). The software requires that dongle to run. The License ID is the serial number of that dongle.

The software is protected through the internet connection. The software must reach the subscription servers to run. The License ID is created during the initial subscription.

Product works off-line.

PL doesn´t require permanent internet connection to run. The computer where the software is installed and running may, or may not be connected to internet.

Product works on-line only.

SL requires permanent internet connection to run. The computer where the software is installed and running must be connected to internet all the time.

Certainly, there are some features (like the live-update service) which require internet connection while using those features only.

The normal use and all the features require an internet connection.

There are additional characteristics available as add-on's in order to expand the capabilities of the software base configuration. They are extra features and extra component, which can be purchased with the software base configuration, or time after that.

SL only includes the features and components of the equivalent PL software base configuration. No additional characteristics are available for SL, even when the characteristic is included in other PL product of the same user.
